Rick Rendon Wins Good Guy Award
We are proud to share with you exciting news about a special award presented in recognition of our Women2Women program.
On Friday, February 26th, the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus presented the "Good Guys Award" to Empower Peace Founder, Rick Rendon in recognition of the Women2Women program's commitment to the goal of equal representation for women in all areas of society.
At a luncheon held at Boston's Copley Plaza, several hundred political, business and community leaders gathered in support
of the Caucus and it's mission of promoting increased participation of women in politics and public policy.
Some of the numerous dignitaries in attendance included past Women2Women presenters such as: State Senator Joan Menard, Attorney General Martha Coakley, United States Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral and Tufts Health Care President Jim Roosevelt.
The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus also presented United States Senator and Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry with the Senator Edward M. Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award.
