Empower Peace Programs

Empower Peace connects and empowers young people through intensive leadership training, which provide a transformative experience grounded in personal relationships and concrete skills, and through web-based technologies capable of reaching a critical mass and enabling them to work together to advance peace.

The Empower Peace program is built around three basis components:

1) our “Virtual Connections” program which utilizes web-based interactive technologies to facilitate cultural and global understanding between youth and the world. This includes our Videoconferences and our World Classroom Webcasts;

2) our “Women2Women” leadership program that connects promising young women from the United States and around the globe, and engages them in the issues that define their lives; and

3) our "Global Village" program which is a series of civic engagement initiatives that provide meaningful opportunities for young people to contribute to their communities, countries and the world.
